AKM's Chipset Digital Converter " As If You Were There"

Featuring AKM's new D/A conversion solution, the SMSL D400EX is equipped with a flagship dual-DAC chipset, delivering an "as if you were there" sound. Two AK4499EX DAC chips combined with the AK4191 DAC chip completely separate the digital and analog circuits of the conversion process, providing unparalleled performance when decoding high-resolution audio signals. The analog characteristics are far superior to the previous AK4499 D/A chip, which suppresses noise and reproduces all music information.

Built-in 7 Types Of Different Digital Filters

The SMSL D400 EX has 7 different types of digital filters for built-in PCM signals. You can choose to use the digital filter output required by the DAC chip according to your preference.


High Resolution Wireless Bluetooth Connectivity

The SMSL D400 EX DAC supports a high-resolution wireless Bluetooth connection for signal input. It uses Qualcomm's latest QCC5125 Bluetooth processor, and supports high-resolution LDAC, AptX HD, AptX, SBC, and AAC transmission protocols. LDAC allows users to stream at 24-bit/96kHz bitrates and up to 50 feet away, and it will help you cut the cord without sacrificing quality.
